The famous Weeping Willow, that gave name to this area, is located in Weeping Willow Park. It was planted a long time ago and has come to symbolize the strength and resilience that are significant for the inhabitants of Isle of Lyre. In the Park you can listen to music and enjoy the peaceful and serene surroundings.
On Ocean Avenue some of the rich and famous families live in contemporary estates, with wonderful views over Cornflower Bay. House prices are considerably lower on N Park Lane, where a few newly arrived families live. The Isle of Lyre Church is famous for it's formal gardens and it's Swedish architecture. Wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions can be held here and there is also a small graveyard behind the church. On the south side of Kaching Avenue there will soon open new shops and a cinema. Some of the lots are for sale at reasonable prices. |
